Nivel de conocimiento y grado de cumplimiento sobre medidas de bioseguridad frente al covid–19 del personal de salud del hospital Iquitos Cesar Garayar García, Iquitos 2022

Abstract

El objetivo de nuestro estudio fue determinar el nivel de conocimiento y el grado de cumplimiento sobre medidas de bioseguridad frente a Covid-19 del personal de salud del Hospital Iquitos Cesar Garayar García de la ciudad de Iquitos del año 2022. La muestra fue conformada por 216 personas profesionales de la salud. El tipo de estudio fue cuantitativo, diseño no experimental, de tipo correlacional, transversal. Los resultados muestran que el 15,7% fueron médicos, el 2,3% fueron odontólogos, el 32,4% fueron enfermeros, el 8,8% fueron obstetras, el 36,6% fueron personal técnico y el 4,2% fueron Otro personal de salud. Según el nivel de conocimiento, el 66,7% tienen un nivel de conocimiento bueno, el 30,6% tienen conocimiento regular, el 0,9% tienen conocimiento malo y el 1,8% tienen conocimiento muy malo. Según el grado de cumplimiento, el 75,9% tienen grado de cumplimiento bueno, el 21,8% tienen grado de cumplimiento regular, y el 2,3% tienen grado de cumplimiento malo. Se encontró correlación estadísticamente significativa entre el nivel de conocimiento y el grado de cumplimiento sobre medidas de bioseguridad frente al Covid-19 (p-valor=0,000 <0,05). Se concluye que, el nivel de conocimiento está relacionado con el grado de cumplimiento sobe medidas de bioseguridad frente al Covid-19.

The objective of our study was to determine the level of knowledge and the degree of compliance with biosecurity measures against Covid-19 of the health personnel of the Iquitos Cesar Garayar García Hospital in the city of Iquitos in the year 2022. The sample was made up of 216 health professional people. The type of study was quantitative, non-experimental design, correlational, cross-sectional. The results show that 15.7% were doctors, 2.3% were dentists, 32.4% were nurses, 8.8% were obstetricians, 36.6% were technical personnel, and 4.2% were They were other health personnel. According to the level of knowledge, 66.7% have a good level of knowledge, 30.6% have fair knowledge, 0.9% have bad knowledge and 1.8% have very bad knowledge. According to the degree of compliance, 75.9% have a good degree of compliance, 21.8% have a regular degree of compliance, and 2.3% have a poor degree of compliance. A statistically significant correlation was found between the level of knowledge and the degree of compliance with biosafety measures against Covid-19 (p-value=0.000 <0.05). It is concluded that the level of knowledge is related to the degree of compliance with biosecurity measures against Covid-19.
