The main objective of the present investigation was to analyze the limitations to the right to food of the adult obligee, with disabilities and successful studies in the district of Iquitos in the year 2021. The research type is non-experimental and cross-sectional. The sample corresponds to 34 files, selected by the non-parametric method for convenience. The technique will be of bibliographic compilation and statistical compilation, through the survey, the instrument to be used is the questionnaire. In the present investigation, important results have been located as a result of the survey carried out on a sample of people (plaintiffs), which we are going to relate to the theoretical information, which we have carried out from previous studies, for which the content of the this research with the study variable, being verified with its results; having as purpose originally directed to Article No. 472 of the Civil Code: food is understood as what is essential for sustenance, room, clothing...”. Our legal system recognizes the right to maintenance of children of legal age, stating in article 483 (exemption from the maintenance obligation) that “...if the state of need due to duly proven causes of physical or mental incapacity or the obligee is successfully following a profession or trade, may request that the obligation continue in force”. Therefore, if the foreseen assumptions do not occur, the person obligated to comply with the alimony would be exonerated. The surveys carried out on 34 plaintiffs from different social strata in the city of Iquitos, of which 23 were women and 11 men, whose ages were predominantly between 16 and 40 years; It should be noted that the majority of claimants had been filing their claim for several months, as can be seen in Table and Illustration No. 2, half of the respondents, that is, 50% presented due to disability in 2021 and the other 50 % for successful studies, that is, it was possible to verify that in both petitions there were half the demands.
