This research project entitled “PROPOSAL FOR THE DESIGN OF A FLEXIBLE PAVEMENT FOR THE EMP. PE-5N10 – BUENOS AIRES – SAN ANTONIO DE PAUJILZAPA – PICOTA – SAN MARTÍN”, was developed in order to contribute to the population that is directly affected by the poor conditions of the road, for better vehicular and pedestrian traffic. Soil evaluations carried out on the local road section EMP. PE-5N10 – BUENOS AIRES – SAN ANTONIO DE PAUJILZAPA – PICOTA – SAN MARTIN, which is at the level of the granular layer (affirmed), allows us to appreciate that this road currently has surface insufficiencies that are critical in some subsections and the serviceability is variable. caused by excessive potholes and deterioration seen on the road. Therein lies the importance of the topic chosen for this thesis since the improvement of the road in question will improve vehicular passability in the area of influence. The purpose of this research is to propose a design for a flexible pavement; To achieve the desired objective, it was necessary to carry out a topographical survey, a mechanical study of soils, a traffic study, to improve the quality of life of people, communication routes are essential for the development of the sector, reduction of pollution when lowering the levels of dust in suspension, elimination of accessibility problems, reduction of accidents, improvement of the image of the sector, improvement of vehicular traffic, improvement of habitability conditions, improvement of road and pedestrian mobility, propitiation of optimal conditions for the enjoyment of the space public; For the investigation, it was necessary to take into account the E. 050 soil and foundation standards and the material test manual (according to the MTC); the technique for this research was observation and the instrument was the observation guide, the method used was descriptive statistics. It was established that the condition of the road requires an improvement in vehicular and pedestrian traffic. Of the application instruments, they were rated from effective to highly effective. In addition, it will allow its practical effects and making available a technical study that makes it possible to provide adequate road infrastructure for the surrounding residents and the population as a whole. The implementation of a proposal at the definitive study level will allow improving the vehicular and pedestrian passability of the Tramo EMP road. PE-5N10 – BUENOS AIRES – SAN ANTONIO DE PAUJILZAPA – PICOTA – SAN MARTIN.
