The present study was aimed at solving the following research problem: What is the frequency of Toxoplasma gondii in patients who attended the Laboratory of Hospital III Iquitos EsSalud from January to December 2019? The research objective was: To determine the frequency of Toxoplasmosis in patients who attended the Laboratory of Hospital III Iquitos EsSalud from January to December 2019. Material and methods: This research is quantitative and retrospective, with a non-experimental, descriptive design. Some 192 sera from blood donors were used to analyze the information using the SPSS V.24 statistical package. Results: The seroprevalence in blood donors to Toxoplasmosis is 14.06%. The most frequent age range was 26 to 35 years old with 40.74%,according to sex 17 (62.96%) were male, according to origin, a higher frequency was observed with 18 (66.67%) from urban areas. Conclusions: The analysis of Toxoplasmosis through Chemiluminescence is a reliable tool with high sensitivity and specificity forblood units with non-reactive Anti Toxoplasma Ig M for immunosuppressed and oncological receptors to avoid future complications.
