The purpose of this research is to determine the relationship that exists between the family social climate and the self-esteem of the students of the fifth year of secondary education of the “Sagrado Corazón” Primary Secondary Public Educational Institution of the city of Iquitos, 2021. The study corresponds to the quantitative type and is based on the hypothetical-deductive method. The population is made up of 140 female students of the morning shift, distributed in sections: A, B, C, D enrolled in the fifth year of secondary education at the “Sagrado Corazón” Primary Secondary Public Educational Institution, in the city of Iquitos. Stratified sampling was used, the sample being 103 students, who were selected by proportional allocation. The data collection instrument used the Moss test for family social climate and the Coopersmith test for self-esteem. For the information analysis, the SPSS v23 software was used, obtaining the following results: regarding the family social climate variable, 35.0% its level was medium, 27.2% the family climate was very good, 22, 3% had a good level, 11.7% had a bad level - bad trend and 3.9% had a good trend. Self-esteem variable, 56.3% of average level, 26.2% show high self-esteem and 17.5% with low selfesteem. It is concluded: There is a significant relationship between the family social climate and the self-esteem of the students of the fifth year of secondary education of the “Sagrado Corazón” Primary Secondary Public Educational Institution in the city of Iquitos (Rho = 0.363; p = 0.000 <0.0 5; mean positive correlation).
