The objective of this research work is to carry out the comparative analysis of the resistance of concretes made with Mochica type GU and Portland Type I cements, used in the construction of buildings, in the City of Yurimaguas, Alto Amazonas and Loreto Region. The present investigation is of the experimental type, because it seeks to determine the effect it causes on the resistance of the elaborated concrete, with the use of Portland cement Type I and Mochica GU and to establish which of these has greater significance in the behavior, which was developed using the research information stored in the virtual repositories of different universities. This research is applied, according to its purpose, and quantitative, according to the nature of the data; In addition, its population is other experimental research works with an antiquity of no more than 10 years, which will be reduced when going through a selection phase. The data collection technique chosen due to the health emergency situation was the documentary analysis, this implied the analysis of data from other investigations to obtain the results and the use of an information record sheet as a data collection instrument. It was concluded that ICO type cement has better physical properties, and that GU type cement has better mechanical properties. Taking into account the performance on site, the costs and the presence in the market, it is concluded that ICO-type cement is the best option for all types of structures and constructions in general that do not present special requirements. The following conclusions were reached: When carrying out the comparative analysis of the compressive strength of the specimens made with Cemento Mochica Type GU and Pacasmayo Portland Type I, it is concluded that the final compressive strength achieved by the concrete made with Cement Mochica Type GU was 243 kg / cm2, and the final compressive strength achieved by concrete made with Pacasmayo Portland Type I Cement was 258.79 kg / cm2. This means a greater resistance of the concrete made with Pacasmayo Portland Type I cement with 15.06 kg / cm2. In other words, Pacasmayo Portland Type I cement generates a 6.18% greater resistance than Mochica Performing the analysis of the physical characteristics between the Mochica Type GU and Pacasmayo Portland Type I cements that generate changes in the concrete elaboration, we conclude that the physical property that influences the concrete design and elaboration process is the density. Mochica Cement Type GU has a density of 2.98 gr / ml and Portland Cement Type I 3.10 gr / ml, these values are used by the ACI method in the design of the mix, which slightly influences the proportions of the materials. Finally, the cost benefit generated by this project is that if it is in works with a higher requirement of this product, it is convenient to work with Pacasmayo cement, since it is at a lower price, and if it is about quality, we are affirming that it acts better, for its resistance.
