The objective of this research was to determine the compressive strength of a high-strength concrete using Aloe Barbadensis mucilage, in 9%, 12% and 15%, a study that was carried out in the city of Tarapoto in 2021. For the development of this research, the characterization of the materials involved was carried out: fine aggregate extracted from the Cumbaza river, coarse aggregate extracted from the Huallaga river and the aloe barbadensis mucilage from the city of Tarapoto, and then proceed to carry out 3 mixing designs considering f'c = 350 kg / cm2, following the method of ACI 211.1; then the tests were carried out on the concrete in the fresh state and in the hardened state; In the tests of the concrete in the fresh state, the following were evaluated: settlement (slump), temperature and for the test of the concrete in the hardened state, the compressive strength was evaluated, developing 36 concrete specimens, cylindrical of 30x15 cm. In this way, the behavior of the standard concrete 350 kg / cm2 and the standard concrete plus the addition of aloe barbadensis mucilage was evaluated and compared, in relation to its resistance and consistency, in order to find alternative materials to be applied in the civil engineering field.
