Abstract

La presente investigación titulada “La agresividad y su relación con la asertividad en un grupo de adolescentes de ambos sexos del Distrito de San Juan Bautista. Iquitos. 2020. Tuvo como objetivo fundamental comprobar si entre la agresividad y la asertividad de un grupo de adolescentes de ambos sexos del Distrito de San Juan Bautista (Iquitos) existía una relación significativa. El tipo de investigación asumido fue el descriptivo -.explicativo, el nivel de la investigación fue el correlacional, el diseño de la investigación fue el no experimental, el enfoque del estudio fue el cuantitativo y el corte fue de tipo transversal. La muestra de la investigación estuvo conformada por 42 jóvenes adolescentes de ambos sexos, 22 de los cuales pertenecían al sexo femenino y 20 al sexo masculino, con un rango de edad entre los 16 y 18 años de edad, un nivel educativo entre Cuarto y Quinto de Secundaria, residentes en el A. H. Villa Mercedes. Se aplicó un muestreo “no probabilístico” de tipo por conveniencia. Para medir las variables en estudio se aplicó a la muestra seleccionada el inventario de asertividad-agresividad de Bakker, instrumento que evalúa los niveles de agresividad y asertividad. El instrumento, antes de su aplicación, fue previamente validado por criterio de jueces y su confiabilidad se estableció utilizando la Prueba Alpha de Cronbach. Los resultados del estudio comprobaron las hipótesis planteadas acerca de que entre la agresividad y la asertividad en un grupo de adolescentes de ambos sexos del Distrito de San Juan Bautista existía una relación directa y significativa. Se concluyó, por tanto, que existía relación significativa entre la agresividad y la asertividad en un grupo de adolescentes de ambos sexos del Distrito de San Juan Bautista. Iquitos. Se elaboraron las recomendaciones del caso y se presentan las tablas y gráficos respectivos.

The present investigation titled “Aggression and its relationship with assertiveness in a group of adolescents of both sexes from the San Juan Bautista District. Iquitos. 2020. Its main objective was to verify if there was a significant relationship between the aggressiveness and assertiveness of a group of adolescents of both sexes from the District of San Juan Bautista (Iquitos). The type of research assumed was descriptiveexplanatory, the research level was correlational, the research design was non-experimental, the study focus was quantitative, and the cut-off was cross-sectional. The research sample consisted of 42 young adolescents of both sexes, 22 of whom belonged to the female sex and 20 to the male sex, with an age range between 16 and 18 years of age, an educational level between the Fourth and the Fifth of Secondary, residents in AH Villa Mercedes. A “non-probabilistic” sampling of the convenience type was applied. To measure the variables under study, Bakker's assertivenessaggressiveness inventory was applied to the selected sample, an instrument that evaluates the levels of aggressiveness and assertiveness. The instrument, before its application, was previously validated by judges' criteria and its reliability was established using Cronbach's Alpha Test. The results of the study verified the hypotheses raised about a direct and significant relationship between aggressiveness and assertiveness in a group of adolescents of both sexes from the District of San Juan Bautista. Therefore, it was concluded that there was a significant relationship between aggressiveness and assertiveness in a group of adolescents of both sexes from the San Juan Bautista District. Iquitos. The recommendations of the case were prepared and the respective tables and graphs are presented.
