The objective of the research is to determine the factors that conditioned the abandonment of implanon in women served in the family planning program at the Regional Hospital of Loreto in 2019. The study is of an explanatory type, in a retrospective non-experimental design. The exhibition consists of 251 medical records of women attended in Family Planning of the Regional Hospital of Loreto. data was processed using spssv-23 software. In verifying the hypotheses, it was obtained that sociodemographic factors: age, place of residence, marital status are conditions for the abandonment of the implanon. The instruction level is not conditioned for abandonment. Clinical factors altering the bleeding pattern (p-0.006)., weight gain (p-0.038)., breast pain (p-0.033)., mood disturbances p-0.000)., pain at the insertion site (p. 0.000)., pelvic pain (p-0.009)., and headache (p-0.021). are conditional on the abandonment of the implanon. The personal factor desire for pregnancy (p-0.049) is conditional on the abandonment of the subdermal implant in women attended in the family planning program at the Regional Hospital of Loreto.Clinical and personal factors are correlated with the abandonment of implanon with significant potency the desire for pregnancy, headache, pain at the place of insertion, alterations in mood, breast pain and weight gain. Pelvic pain and bleeding pattern alteration factors have highly significant potency in women served in the loreto Regional Hospital's family planning program.
