In the evaluation of the amount of biocontaminated waste with an average percentage of 47. 15%, the Common waste with an average of 52. 85% and Special waste do not register generation. In conclusion, the Emergency Service meets the minimum requirements for proper management and handling of the HRW. The staff of the health facility and medical support service are exposed to accidents and infectious diseases, because they lack knowledge of policy management and poor management of HRH.
