Nowadays, higher education institutions require constant innovation to optimize their processes and reduce response times. In this context, the need arises to create a tracking system for thesis approval, whose main objective is to optimize the review and approval process, minimizing delays for both students and academic staff. Previously, the process relied heavily on manual communication via e-mail, which generated inefficiencies, delays, and potential human errors. The proposed solution is an automated thesis approval system that provides greater efficiency and transparency in the process. Major enhancements include the ability for students to upload their thesis documents only once, eliminating redundancies and reducing errors. In addition, the system allows real-time tracking of thesis approval status, enabling students, advisors, and administrative staff to monitor the process continuously without the need for manual follow-ups. This system ensures that all parties involved are promptly informed of any updates, reducing communication delays. Finally, the feasibility of the project is supported by previous process approval records, which endorse the suitability of the system to the academic needs and confirm its potential to optimize the workflow in the field of thesis approval. The work includes both an internal and external diagnosis of the company, identifying strengths such as product quality and constant availability, but also weaknesses like the absence of an established marketing department and limited use of digital tools. The external analysis reveals economic, political, and social challenges, such as political instability in Peru and the increasing demand for healthcare services. Several alternatives are proposed to address these problems, including the creation of a marketing department, the hiring of a marketing manager, and the complete outsourcing of the marketing area. Ultimately, the full implementation of a marketing department is selected as the most appropriate strategy to strengthen the company’s internal structure and improve its market positioning.
