Level of knowledge and compliance of biosafety standards in the delivery room by obstetricians of Hospitals of the Ministry of Health Cusco, 2017. A study whose objective is to determine the level of knowledge and compliance of biosecurity standards in the delivery room, a descriptive, observational study with prospective data collection, a quantitative approach, a non-experimental study, where the population was 42 obstetricians. Results: The level of knowledge of biosecurity standards is medium 49%, 62% definition, 51% biosecurity principles, 53% definition of biosecurity principles, the level of knowledge about the use of protective barriers is a mean level 62% washed 48% use of disinfectants, 54% handling of secretions, 57% use of masks, 52% use of gloves, 62% use of protective equipment, 64% use of N95 respirator, 43% use protective clothing 67% use of disposable syringes, 57% handling of hospital waste, 64% use of disposable syringes, 54% use of disposable syringes, 67% handling of body fluids, Work accident with sharp object, 47% handling of body fluids, 66% type of biocontaminated waste.
