Educational quality is an important issue that must be addressed in greater depth at all levels by which the present research work entitled: “EVALUATION OF TEACHING QUALITY IN THE FACULTY OF SCIENCES OF THE UNIVERSIDAD NACIONAL DE SAN ANTONIO ABAD DEL CUSCO THROUGH OPTIMUM SCALING , 2017” whose objective is: To determine the level of quality of teaching in the professional schools of the faculty of Sciences in the National University San Antonio Abad of Cusco, by means of techniques of optimum staggering. Method and Material: quantitative research, of descriptive scope, which has a nonexperimental cross-sectional design, the study population consisted of 1094 students of the faculty of sciences, of which 285 students were chosen, distributed proportionally to the size of population, by means of a stratified sampling with affixation proportional to the size. Where the following results were obtained: 30.2% of the students perceive the quality of teaching in the science faculty as good, followed by 26.0% of the students who perceive the quality of teaching as a regular one. , 8% of students perceive the quality of teaching as very good, and 17.2% of students perceive the quality of teaching on the part of teachers in the faculty of sciences of UNSAAC as very bad. where the following conclusion was reached: The quality of teaching in the science faculty is predominantly good with a tendency to regulate. In the professional school of biology 35.6% perceive the quality of teaching as good, in the professional schools of physics and chemistry as very good these with 36.8% and 35.1%; while the students of the professional school of mathematics 31.9% perceive the quality of teaching as regular. The factors associated with Bthe quality of teaching in order of importance are: the teaching pedagogical processes of teaching and learning (30%) the most important, followed by the university extension capacities (26.9%), and investigative capacities (23, 8%); finally, the academic management capacity (19.3%).
