The purpose of this research work entitled: "Reactiva Peru Program and its impact on the profitability of companies in the construction sector of Lima, year 2020", is to analyze and determine the impact of the Reactiva program on the Profitability of companies in the construction sector. before the effects of COVID-19. The arrival of COVID-19 forced changes to be able to continue and generated a lot of uncertainty about the impact it would have on productivity and profitability. The Peruvian Government applied restrictive measures to control the health crisis, where various sectors of the economy saw their operations reduced with the latent risk of falling into insolvency. In order to counteract these measures, it created the Reactiva Perú program that provided economic solvency through the delivery of loans, injecting liquidity to the entities of the main sectors and companies affected, in order to avoid breaking the payment chain due to the health crisis (Banco Central de Reserva del Perú [BCRP], 2021). This investigation is divided into five chapters, as a first point it seeks to investigate the background of the investigation related to the profitability, impact and benefits of the Reactiva Peru program in the construction sector, then the problematic situation, justification, objectives and assumptions, limitations and parameters. In the same way, the scope is defined and the sample of the population is delimited for the quantitative and qualitative analysis, the collection instruments are applied. Finally, the information obtained from the interviews and surveys is analyzed, with these results the conclusions and recommendations are defined.
