Objective: To determine what is the parent’s knowledge about oral health in children with special abilities of the C.E.B.E. Don Jose de San Martin Cusco 2018. Methodology: The design corresponds to a descriptive cross sectional observational study. The sample size of the study was 110 parents with children currently enrolled in the school year. The study unit is made up of each of the parents who voluntarily agreed to participate in the study and the unit of analyst is the survey that was carried out on them, 7 aspects were evaluated: Preventive Measures, Oral Hygiene, Dental Development, Oral Diseases, Parents level of knowledge regarding their child educational level, age group and diagnosis. Results: This study was carried out in the C.E.B.E Don Jose de San Martin Cusco, where 30. 9% have a deficient level of knowledge, 56,4% of the parents have a regular knowledge that represents the greatest number of parents and 12.7% of the parents have a good level of knowledge. The knowledge about preventive measures was regular with 50.9%, the knowledge about oral hygiene was regular with 45. 5%, the knowledge about dental development was regular with 50,5% the knowledge about oral diseases was regular with 46,4%, as for the knowledge about the degree of education we found that parents with a higher level of education were the only ones who obtained a good level of knowledge with 56. 2%, the knowledge according to the age group the parents of all the groups their results were regular and the knowledge according to the diagnosis of their child is regular in the three e diagnoses. Conclusions: Parents' knowledge of oral health is regular with 56,4% followed by poor knowledge with 30. 9% and finally good knowledge with 12. 7%.
