The garbage generated annually by the population, is a growing problem that seriously affects the sustainable development of the city of Cusco, as well as the entire nation; one of these most common garbage components is glass. This research proposes an alternative to reuse this component, preventing it from ending up in the environment. This research has been focused on evaluating the compressive strength of groups of fifteen (15) units of type II concrete pavers for light vehicular pavement with f'c 340 kg / cm 2 , with one control group and three groups with the addition of crushed glass from recycling replacing percentages of 15%, 20% and 25% of the coarse aggregate, in order to determine the influence of the material on the performance of the concrete element. The concrete pavers obtained in the present investigation comply with the parameters stipulated in NTP 399.611 and NTP 399.604 and it has been shown that the incorporation of percentages of crushed glass in replacement of coarse aggregate allowed reaching the average range of resistance to compression of the controls. Being for the group with 15% of crushed glass an average of resistance greater in 6.45% with all the units above the design resistance; for the group with 20% glass, an average resistance greater in 4.03% with the 20% of specimens that did not reach the design resistance; and for the group with 25% an average resistance greater only in 1.61%, evidencing a negative effect of the incorporation of crushed glass, where 40% of the specimens could not reach the design resistance.
