Abstract: La presente investigación tiene por “objetivo general conocer la situación de la gestión pública
en el área COVID-19 del Hospital Santa Rosa de Puerto Maldonado, 2020”. Este estudio se
justifica por describir la gestión pública aplicados desde los sistemas administrativos tales
como presupuesto y abastecimiento. En cuanto a la metodología corresponde a un estudio
descriptivo y diseño no experimental de tipo transversal descriptivo, aplicado a una población
y muestra conformada por 10 trabajadores que laboran en las áreas administrativas de
presupuesto y abastecimiento del área COVID-19; la técnica de recolección de datos fue la
encuesta y el análisis documental, utilizando como instrumentos el cuestionario y la guía de
análisis documental. Para el procesamiento de datos se empleó el software SPSS y el programa
EXCEL. Los resultados muestran que las áreas administrativas realizaron labores
exclusivamente para la atención del COVID-19, teniendo en cuenta que debían prestar atención
a los requerimientos solicitados a efectos de adquirir y entregar los bienes y servicios para
contrarrestar la pandemia del COVID-19 y se concluye que la gestión pública del Hospital
Santa Rosa fue buena, esto se evidencia con la cantidad de pacientes que fueron atendidos,
siendo un total de 2637 atenciones en el año 2020, asignándoles presupuesto a fin de que se
realicen la atención de bienes y servicios necesarios cumpliendo con los procedimientos
establecidos.
The general “objective of this research is to know the situation of public management in the COVID-19 area of the Santa Rosa Hospital in Puerto Maldonado, 2020”. This study is justified by describing public management applied from administrative systems such as budget and supply. Regarding the methodology, it corresponds to a descriptive study and non-experimental design of a descriptive cross-sectional type, applied to a population and sample made up of 10 workers who work in the administrative areas of budgeting and supply of the COVID-19 area; The data collection technique was the survey and documentary analysis, using the questionnaire and the document analysis guide as instruments. For data processing, the SPSS software and the EXCEL program were used. The results show that the administrative areas carried out work exclusively for the attention of COVID-19, taking into account that they had to pay attention to the requirements requested in order to acquire and deliver the goods and services to counteract the COVID-19 pandemic and it is concluded that the public management of the Santa Rosa Hospital was good, this is evidenced by the number of patients who were attended, with a total of 2,637 attentions in the year 2020, assigning them a budget so that the care of necessary goods and services is carried out, complying with established procedures.
