In the present work, has made the "determination and simulation of thermodynamic variables in CSTR reactors and hysys software, PFR V8.0". This has raised the following case studies. Case I: Production of ethylene in a PFR Case II: Production of acetic acid in a CSTR after raising the above-mentioned cases, the modeling of both cases, taking into account the conditions of entry and exit to the CSTR reactors and PFR, which helped determine the design equations for these reactors and the conventional simulation for both case studies. This was followed by the simulation of both case studies, using hysys software V8.0; for which selected the package of fluid or "Fluid Package" of Peng-Ronbinson for the case I because it is a mixture of hydrocarbons and in the case II of the UNIQUAC was selected as an aqueous solution with polar components. The results obtained by the conventional simulation, with the results obtained from the simulation using hysys software V8.0, were compared for both cases, noting that there is no significant differences. This shows that HYSYS, is an excellent tool that allows you to determine data of physical properties, thermodynamic and transport of input and output flows of CSTR reactors and PFR.
