The present work has had as objective the design of the structural elements for the development of a steel structure, which was destined for the storage of soybeans in an area of Huaral. The project has an area of 2660 m2, which is made up of tubular profiles, with the following dimensions: 38 m wide, 70 m long and a total height of 18 m, in such a way that the structure has a gantry system. moment resistant and are supported on reinforced concrete columns. To start with the project, the pre-dimensioning and structuring of the structural elements were prepared. Next, the calculation of the gravitational loads, wind loads and seismic loads was carried out in accordance with the Peruvian Technical Standard E.020 Loads and E.030 Seismic Resistant Design, which will be subjected to the metallic structure. And through the use of the SAP 2000 program, the structural analysis will be carried out, to calculate the deformations, forces and moments of the structural elements. Subsequently, for the design of the structural elements, the load combination has been considered according to the Peruvian Technical Standard E.090 Metallic Structures, the project was carried out with the LRFD Method according to the AISC 36010 Specification to design the structural elements. and the connections.
