The present work consisted of the implementation of the Last Planner System (LSP) in the programming and control in the work of Expansion of the Water and Drainage System of the Districts of Aplao and Huancarqui of the Province of Castilla - Arequipa. For this, firstly, the technical procedures for the execution of the work were defined, then LPS was implemented; The lookahead (intermediate planning) and weekly planning were elaborated and the evaluation of the reliability of the planning was carried out through the PPC and CNC indicators. The methodology was implemented in 9 work fronts that made up the drinking water networks, sewage networks and the respective home connections, during a period of sixteen (16) weeks; involving all the leading technical and operational personnel of each activity to be carried out (Resident, Supervisors, Topographer, Construction Foreman, Crew or Front Leaders, Operators). As part of the methodology, formats made in the Excel program were used for management monitoring. As a result, an improvement in the reliability of the programming was obtained in all work fronts, as an example we have Front No. 07 where in the first week there was a PPC of 25% and reaching a PPC in week 14. 83%, which indicates a high effectiveness of the implementation of the program under the Ultimate Planner System; On the other hand, it was determined that the causes of non-compliance (CNC) resulting with the highest incidence were those related to Logistics restrictions (24.1%), customer (13.8%), equipment (12.1%), production (12.6%) and Engineering (11.2%); Regarding the deadline, the work was delivered two weeks before the date set forth in the work schedule. Finally, it is concluded that the implementation of the Last Planner System in the study project, allowed to identify the variability in the execution of the activities and the causes of non-compliance (CNC). Likewise, it allowed us to take actions to improve the reliability of the weekly planning based on the analysis of the results obtained at the end of each week and the feedback that was carried out during the planning meetings, identifying the possible restrictions and the commitments assumed by those responsible. for release to ensure a continuous workflow. Above all, the implementation of the Last Planner System made it possible to improve the delivery time of the work.
