This thesis work is focused on the need to contribute to increase the success of process management implementations in the public sector by improving the process management implementation methodology proposed by the Secretariat of Public Management of the Presidency of the Council of Ministers, since process management implementation projects in public entities do not culminate successfully. The proposed solution is based on the application of agile project management methodologies such as design thinking, "Scrum" and the incorporation of "Task Force" teams that will allow public entities to meet the objectives and scope of the implementation projects. In this context, a redesign of the process management implementation methodology was carried out, incorporating the use of agile methodologies and "Task Force" teams. This methodology was validated by representatives of public entities who are experts a process management, achieving their acceptance and confirming that the redesigned methodology contributes to increase the success of process management implementations in public entities, so that its application in future implementations will contribute to accelerate the modernization of public entities through the implementation of process management.
