The objective of this research is to apply the techniques of watercolor to find the closeness with the plastic arts and how the learning process is. The research has a qualitative descriptive basis with a multicultural and interdisciplinary approach, where the students used the technique of painting with Chinese ink and learned the chromatic values during the process of their artistic creations capturing elements of nature, which is why they became important actors in this research. Observations, interviews and surveys were also carried out directly and indirectly with the population and culminated with the exhibitions of their artistic works by each student to then be analyzed. This research provides education with a didactic proposal to understand the learning process using this technique or another and how to develop their creativity. In addition, it provides, from the pedagogy in the plastic arts, to know and guide the student in the evolutionary process of expressing themselves artistically using watercolor. It is a work that can help future research. It was concluded that the watercolor technique is useful for students to get closer to art, shape the technique to their liking and artistically express what they feel, know and observe.
