The objective of this research work was to establish the relationship that exists between theatrical pedagogy and meaningful learning in students of the Academic Department of Artistic Education, Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities, of the National University of Education. The research methodology was applied, the approach was quantitative and the design used was non-experimental, cross-correlational. A sample of 60 students belonging to the mentioned institution; the information collection technique was the survey, reason for which two instruments were applied: the first was questionnaire No. 1 that measured the level of theatrical pedagogy and the second was questionnaire No. 2 that measured the level of the significant learning. The reliability test was carried out through the Alpha of Cronbach, the normality test was carried out through the Kolmogorov test – Smirnov and the inferential analysis was performed through the correlation coefficient of Spearman. This investigation concluded indicating that there is a significant relationship between the theater pedagogy and significant learning in students of the Department Academic of Artistic Education, Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities, of the National University of Education.
