The objective of this research work was to analyze the impact of the implementation of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) skills on the learning achievement of fifth-year high school students at the Mariscal Luzuriaga Educational Institution, located in Piscobamba, Peru, a region with marked technological and socioeconomic limitations. Using a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental design, 40 students were evaluated, divided into an experimental group and a control group. The study focused on determining how the dimensions of personalization of virtual environments, information management, interaction in virtual environments, and creation of digital objects influence the academic achievement of students. Data were collected through surveys and academic tests before and after the educational intervention. The results revealed that the application of ICT skills has a significant positive impact on learning achievement, especially in the areas of information management and creation of digital objects, with notable improvements in the experimental group compared to the control group. The research concludes that the application of the ICT Competence substantially improves learning achievement with 80% (16) students who reached the level of "Expected Achievement", contributing comprehensively to the academic development of fifth-year students of the I.E. Mariscal Luzuriaga Piscobamba 2023 in the experimental group, also identifying the need to strengthen the digital infrastructure and offer continuous training to teachers. Authorities are recommended to invest in these areas and explore the application of ICT in other educational contexts.
