The main objective of this research was to determine the relationship between the use of ICT and the active methodology in student learning in the area of mathematics of an Educational Institution in the district of Los Olivos. For this, the study is framed in a non- experimental design correlates]. while for the data collection the survey technique was used, being the questionnaire of questions the instrument used to measure the variables information and communication technologies, the active methodology and the learning of the students, the sample was made up of 42 students fourth year of high school from an educational institution in the district of Los Olivos. The most outstanding results were that in the use of the active methodology, 833% of the students classified the performance of this methodology as deficient. while the use of ICT was considered regular by 66.7%. and learning was also considered regular by 61.9% of the students. Finally, it was concluded that there is a significant relationship between information and communication technologies, and the active methodology in student learning.
