The objective of this investigation was to determine the level of exposure to psychosocial risk factors in the police personnel of the Criminal Investigation area of the Santa Marta Police Station, to subsequently implement a risk management program in order to prevent and mitigate the consequences of this exhibition. For this, a compilation and documentary analysis was carried out on the instruments that measure exposure to psychosocial risk and by means of the comparison, the FPSICO v.4.0 instrument was chosen as the most optimal for carrying out this project and subsequently the management program of risk, modeled specifically for the most recurrent problems and incidents in the population studiedThe research method was quantitative -explanatory, since it seeks to describe and analyze the dimensions of psychosocial risk in the chosen questionnaire, which was carried out on a sample of 31 officers, divided into a control group of 15 participants and an experimental group of 16 respondents. As results, it was found that the level of exposure to psychosocial risk factors was at very high levels before the application of the program, especially in the dimension of work time and workload, where more than 90% of the participants were at that level ; in psychological demands, more than 80% are at very high levels of risk. Once theprogram is applied, this risk decreases by 33.3%, which indicates an appropriate context and 20% in a moderate ontext in the psychological demands dimension; while in work time and workload, the very high risk decreases to 60.1% and 33.3% respectively.Likewise, the development of the sessions carried out is presented, which describes the dynamics, objectives and times taken to reach these results in order to replicate these same sessions in similar workspaces.
