The purpose of the present investigation is to determine the influence of the plasticising additives Chema-Plast and Plastiment HE-98 on the concrete properties for obtaining high strength concrete f'c 380 kgf / cm2. In the constructions that are made in Trujillo, it is required to maintain or improve the workability of the concrete and for this many time it is used to increase water in the mixture with the consequent reduction of resistance, which will directly affect the structural safety against the stresses of gravity and earthquakes. To carry out the tests, cylindrical specimens with a standard mix design f'c 380 kgf / cm2 and specimens with additive were manufactured. Taking into account the criteria of the Peruvian Technical Standards (NTP), the American Society for Test Materials (ASTM) and the American Concrete Institute (ACI), the test pieces were tested at 7, 14 and 28 days after their manufacture. The results show that the samples with additive Plastiment HE-98 increased their workability up to 500% with respect to the standard. In the case of resistance to compression at 7. 14 and 28 days with the addition of 0.5% additive, this does not show a significant increase according to the statistical program SPSS. On the other hand, the samples with Chema-Plast additive reduce their workability up to 60% with respect to the standard. As it was not possible to determine the compressive strength of these specimens with the addition of 1% to 2.5% additive, it had to be readjusted by increasing it by 20% more A / C, thus achieving the proper settlement and demonstrating that there is no increase in its resistance to compression at 7, 14 and 28 days compared to the pattern. With these results we conclude that the use of Plastiment HE-98 additive is better than the Chema-Plast as it positively influences the workability and maintains its resistance above the compression limit f'c 380 kgf / cm2 between 0.5% and 1.5% additive content.
