Abstract: En el Perú existen gran cantidad de instituciones educativas construidas con materiales de baja calidad, con normas técnicas pasadas, entre otros, que puedan presentar un comportamiento estructural deficiente. El objetivo del estudio es determinar las medidas de mitigación frente al riesgo sísmico en la Institución Educativa N° 5125 en el distrito de Ventanilla. Este estudio desarrolla una metodología de investigación con enfoque cuantitativo, de alcance descriptivo, con un diseño no experimental - transversal y una muestra no probabilística seleccionada por conveniencia, específicamente de la Institución Educativa N° 5125, donde se llevó a cabo mediante la aplicación de técnica de observación directa y análisis documental. Como resultado, se calculó un nivel de riesgo de 0.038, situándose en la categoría de riesgo alto de rango 0.019 ≤ R < 0.069 y; además, se desarrolló un análisis estructural de los bloques, donde se propuso la aplicación de un refuerzo estructural en el bloque C de un muro de corte, logrando distorsiones dentro del límite en la dirección x-x de 0.0087. Se concluye que, especialmente en el bloque C, presenta un riesgo estructural, la cual se destaca la necesidad de implementar medidas de mitigación de refuerzo estructural para mejorar la capacidad de su resistencia.
In Peru there are a large number of educational institutions built with low quality materials, with outdated technical standards, among others, that may present poor structural behavior. The objective of the study is to determine the mitigation measures against seismic risk in Educational Institution No. 5125 in the Ventanilla district. This study develops a research methodology with a quantitative approach, descriptive scope, with a non-experimental - transversal design and a non-probabilistic sample selected by convenience, specifically from the Educational Institution No. 5125, where it was carried out through the application of technical of direct observation and documentary analysis. As a result, a risk level of 0.038 was calculated, placing it in the high risk category of range 0.019 ≤ R < 0.069 and; In addition, a structural analysis of the blocks was developed, where the application of structural reinforcement in block C of a shear wall was proposed, achieving distortions within the limit in the x-x direction of 0.0087. It is concluded that, especially in block C, it presents a structural risk, which highlights the need to implement mitigation measures of structural reinforcement to improve its resistance capacity.
