The research was conducted in the Mitopampa quarry located in the province of Hualgayoc department of Cajamarca, in the process of drilling and blasting. This thesis presents a process optimization of drilling and blasting, a study of different methods of drilling and blasting to select the most appropriate. The proposed patterns based on a study of different methods of calculation, these being; The Swedish method, the Konya method, the method of proportionality, the method proposed by López Jimeno and Method Langefords estimate for the size of the fragmentation result of drilling and blasting.
