The purpose of this study is to contribute to the investigation of people with drug addiction problems and who until now have not been able to be treated due to the absence of formal equipment that does not cover the large demand in the area. People with this problem, need an optimal environment that allows them to have a good treatment to not fall back on their addiction. For this reason, it is proposed to design a care center for people dependent on psychoactive substances; with the purpose of defining to what extent the use of neuroarchitecture principles determines the approach of this architectural project. To achieve this, multiple related studies and thesis on the variable are analyzed, to collect the corresponding information on the principles of neuroarchitecture and determine the dimensions, sub- dimensions and indicators that can be applied in different architectural cases through a table of Variable operation. From this, the influence of the variable on the architectural facts is checked and the design guidelines are developed so that they can finally be applied on the project to be developed. The project will be located in the province of Trujillo, as it is considered as one of the places with the highest consumption of drugs such as drugs and alcohol. Here, three possible lands were analyzed by means of a weighting chart, giving different scores according to their endogenous and exogenous characteristics, resulting in a land with a higher score being chosen as the ideal place for the center. Finally, the design of this seeks to serve as an object of study for future projects of this nature, both in studies of people dependent on psychoactive substances and in the principles of neuroarchitecture and the relationship of both.
