The present research work was developed in the city of Trujillo, La Libertad region in 2018, having as main objective to determine how the waterproofing additives Sika WT-100, Sika 1 liquid and Sika 1 powder in the resistance to the compression and permeability of a concrete with a mix design of 210 𝑘�𝑔�/𝑐�𝑚�2 by the ACI 211 method. To achieve this goal, firstly, the aggregates of the "H & S" quarry were obtained, after which the tests were carried out to find out their properties, in accordance with Peruvian technical standards. Regarding the mix design, it was elaborated according to the method proposed by the ACI 211. Finally, concrete specimens were prepared and their resistance to compression and permeability was evaluated based on Peruvian technical standards and UNE standards. With this, it was sought to benefit the construction companies, engineers, architects and people related to the world of construction in general. This research study offers the possibility of determining the behavior of concrete in terms of its resistance to compression and permeability under the influence of three types of additives. This allows us to know if the application of the additives in the structural concrete is feasible or not. To this end, the main knowledge and concepts of concrete technology related specifically to the tests of aggregates, mix design and mechanical properties of hardened concrete were used. The additive proportions that were applied in the concrete were designated taking into consideration the technical data sheets and previous studies carried out. The Sika additive WT-100 was applied in 2% of the weight of the cement, the additive Sika 1 liquid was applied in 2%, 3% and 4% with respect to the weight of the cement; while, the sika 1 powder additive had a use ratio of 1 kilogram per bag of cement. The present investigation is of experimental type because the dependent variable (resistance to compression and permeability) will be influenced by the independent variable (Sika WT-100, Sika 1 liquid and Sika 1 powder). The research design is pure experimental due to the intentional manipulation of the waterproofing additive Sika WT-100, liquid sika 1 and powder sika 1, to analyze the consequences they generate in the concrete. Among the main results is the use of Sika additives WT-100, Sika 1 powder and Sika 1 liquid in 2% and 3% positively influenced the compressive strength of concrete at 7, 14 and 28 days compared to the concrete pattern; Likewise, the permeability of the concrete with each additive was reduced compared to the concrete pattern at 28 days.
