This thesis is entitled "EVALUATION OF THE VENTILATION NATURAL TO OPTIMIZE THE MINING OPERATIONS IN THE UNDERGROUND MINE MY GRIMALDINA I - TRUJILLO - 2016", whose objective was to determine, assess the natural ventilation of galleries three underground galleries that are exploited in the concession my Grimaldina I contemplated under the Regulation of Occupational Safety and Health, this study is important because it allows us to know how responsible is, who operates the concession mining company "CARBOJHOLAY"; because more and more companies in the mining industry sector are committed to safety, is are aware that their operations have impacts, health workers, environmental and social and make these are positive and contribute to the development sustained workers, population and environment, companies do not strengthen the ventilation system in mining projects, all underground mining work must be equipped with clean air according to the needs of staff, machinery, to evacuate the gases, fumes and dust suspended that could affect the health of workers, all ventilation system in the mining industry, as it relates to air quality must be maintained within maximum permissible limits, from its beginnings to today, the ventilation of Mines has main objective the supply of fresh air for breathing people and dilution gases and dust extraction product of underground operations (extraction, loading and transportation). It is true that generally the current requirements were not present in the past with such intensity, since then the rates of exploitation in the mines were not as current and therefore we can not lose sight that the levels of comfort and security adopted today day are much more demanding.
