Research has sufficiently established that cameras with biometric recognition are a necessary complement to increase the efficiency of the protection measure against the impediment of approach or proximity to the victim of family violence. Therefore, the present study aims to analyze how biometric recognition affects the impediment of approaching the victim of family violence in Peru, 2021. Given the nature of our inquiry, we opted for a basic purpose, with a mixed approach, non-experimental design, exploratory level and socio-legal method. The data were collected from the unstructured interview and survey techniques, applying the data collection instruments of the interview guide and the virtual survey questionnaire, which were analyzed through transcription and conversion. It was found that cameras with biometric recognition allow the detection of administrative infractions and prevent the consummation of crimes. The protection measure under study is insufficient and inapplicable to our reality due to the lack of human resources. The investigation on these chambers is pertinent to face the scourge of violence against women, they will undoubtedly increase the efficiency of the judicial protection measure.
