Abstract: Objective: Determine the level of stress in Nursing interns at a Private University of Lima
- 2023. Method: Quantitative, descriptive, non-experimental cross-sectional approach. The population consists of 64 nursing interns. For data collection, the KESKAK questionnaire was used through the survey technique modified by the authors, validation was carried out by 5 expert judges with a V AIKEN value greater than 0.60 and a reliability coefficient of
0.87 according to Cronbach's alpha. Results: The results obtained regarding the stress level in the interns showed 69% present a medium level, 27% a low level and 4% of high. 42% medium level and 13% of high level according to the competence dimension. 50% medium stress and 13% high level according to the dimension of contact with suffering. 50% medium and 13% high stress level according to the relationship dimension with tutors and classmates. 39% medium level and 11% high stress level about the helplessness and uncertainty dimension. 59% medium level and 13% high stress level according to the overload dimension. Conclusions: Nursing Interns state that stress is predominantly generated by item I am afraid of being pricked by an infected needle and I feel that I have a lot of work overload at the boarding university.
