ABSTRAC Low back pain is considered a disease of great importance worldwide, since it affects a large part of the population at some point in their lives, in addition to being costly for the health system and negatively affecting the quality of life of people from any age. Objective: To determine the relationship of low back pain with the associated factors in students of a private university in metropolitan Lima 2020. Methodology: A study with a quantitative approach, non-experimental design, descriptive correlational type and hypothetical deductive method was carried out. The sample used was 60 students. The instruments used were the EVA scale and the technical data sheet. Results: These detail that it was possible to determine the relationship between low back pain and the associated factors, through Pearson's Chi-square χ²=17,451 where the calculated p value is. Regarding the associated factors, the relationship of low back pain with sex, age, study hours, study posture, and the use of technological equipment stands out. Conclusions: These results corroborate that low back pain is related to both intrinsic and extrinsic associated factors. Since these play a fundamental role in the development of pain and classification of low back pain, as well as in the impact of functionality and daily activities in university students.
