ABSTRACT This thesis proposes the architectural design of a pedagogical center for children in MocheTrujillo, with the aim of applying renewable energy systems such as the use of photovoltaic panels in the architectural envelope. For this, the investigation is resolved in a descriptive manner of causal and projective nature, with the use of analysis cards and theoretical bases to be applied in the project. As a result, the following design guidelines related to the variables were obtained: Orientation (location and orientation suitable for the best use of the sun), Photovoltaic panels (systems for capturing solar energy and energy saving), architectural envelope. For this design the appropriate terrain was determined, through analysis sheets, resulting in the Moche district as an optimal place for the development of the project. Finally, the results determined that the architectural envelope with photovoltaic panels is an alternative for energy supply in buildings and a factor to mitigate environmental pollution, reducing conventional energy consumption. The panels form part of the envelope, deciding that the envelope is separated from the conventional structure so that it serves as a skin and function of indoor courtyards, conditioned by the photovoltaic panels, allowing the optimal design of a pedagogical center for children in Moche-Trujillo.
