The present study explored the relationship between happiness and dyadic adjustment in university students of an adult education program working in Trujillo. The sample group was comprised of 251 students between the ages of 22 and 50. Alarcon´s Lima Happiness Scale and Spanier´s Dyadic Adjustment Scale were used in this study. Additionally, the SPSS® and the Factor Analysis were used to measure the validity of these instruments. The results showed a highly significant positive correlation of long effect size between happiness and dyadic adjustment. Furthermore, there is a highly significant positive correlation of long effect size between happiness and the dimensions of dyadic adjustment (satisfaction and consensus). There is a highly significant positive correlation of long effect size between dyadic adjustment and the happiness factor (life satisfaction). It showed high levels of happiness as well as dyadic adjustment in university students of an adult education program working in Trujillo. Based on the aforementioned, it can be concluded that a higher level of happiness in university students of an adult education program working in Trujillo will lead to a higher level of dyadic adjustment.
