The objective of this research is to determine the relationship between leadership styles and job performance at the Clínica Peruano Americana, Trujillo - 2024. By identifying the most influential leadership styles in employee performance, it is expected that companies in the health sector can implement strategies that improve the service provided to patients, thus promoting customer loyalty. This research is basic, with a quantitative approach, a non-experimental design and a correlational scope. The study population is made up of 91 workers from the Clínica Peruano Americana, Trujillo - 2024. For data collection, the survey technique will be used, using a questionnaire as a research instrument. The results indicate that there is a significant relationship (sig. < 0.01), positive and low, between leadership styles and job performance at the clinic, with a Spearman's Rho coefficient of 0.336. Likewise, a significant relationship (sig. < 0.01), positive and low, was found between leadership styles and employee competencies, with a Spearman's Rho coefficient of 0.323. Regarding the relationship between leadership style and job commitment, no significant relationship (sig. < 0.01) was found; although it is positive, the correlation is very low, with a Spearman's Rho coefficient of 0.158. On the other hand, between leadership styles and job satisfaction, a significant relationship (sig. < 0.01), positive and low, was observed, with a Spearman's Rho coefficient of 0.328. In conclusion, the research carried out at the Peruvian American Clinic in Trujillo reveals that leadership style has a positive and moderate impact on employee job performance, as well as a positive, although low, relationship with their competencies and job satisfaction.
