Abstract: El objetivo de esta investigación es determinar la relación entre los estilos de
liderazgo y el desempeño laboral en la Clínica Peruano Americana, Trujillo - 2024.
Al identificar los estilos de liderazgo más influyentes en el desempeño de los
colaboradores, se espera que las empresas del sector salud puedan implementar
estrategias que mejoren el servicio brindado a los pacientes, favoreciendo así la
fidelización de sus clientes. Esta investigación es de tipo básica, con un enfoque
cuantitativo, un diseño no experimental y un alcance correlacional. La población de
estudio está conformada por 91 trabajadores de la Clínica Peruano Americana,
Trujillo – 2024. Para la recolección de datos, se utilizará la técnica de encuesta,
empleando un cuestionario como instrumento de investigación. Los resultados
indican que existe una relación significativa (sig. < 0.01), positiva y baja, entre los
estilos de liderazgo y el desempeño laboral en la clínica, con un coeficiente Rho de
Spearman de 0.336. Asimismo, se encontró una relación significativa (sig. < 0.01),
positiva y baja, entre los estilos de liderazgo y las competencias de los trabajadores,
con un coeficiente Rho de Spearman de 0.323. En cuanto a la relación entre el
estilo de liderazgo y el compromiso laboral, no se halló una relación significativa
(sig. < 0.01); aunque es positiva, la correlación es muy baja, con un coeficiente Rho
de Spearman de 0.158. Por otro lado, entre los estilos de liderazgo y la satisfacción
laboral, se observó una relación significativa (sig. < 0.01), positiva y baja, con un
coeficiente Rho de Spearman de 0.328. En conclusión, la investigación realizada
en la Clínica Peruano Americana de Trujillo revela que el estilo de liderazgo tiene
un impacto positivo y moderado en el desempeño laboral de los colaboradores, así
como una relación positiva, aunque baja, con sus competencias y satisfacción

The objective of this research is to determine the relationship between leadership styles and job performance at the Clínica Peruano Americana, Trujillo - 2024. By identifying the most influential leadership styles in employee performance, it is expected that companies in the health sector can implement strategies that improve the service provided to patients, thus promoting customer loyalty. This research is basic, with a quantitative approach, a non-experimental design and a correlational scope. The study population is made up of 91 workers from the Clínica Peruano Americana, Trujillo - 2024. For data collection, the survey technique will be used, using a questionnaire as a research instrument. The results indicate that there is a significant relationship (sig. < 0.01), positive and low, between leadership styles and job performance at the clinic, with a Spearman's Rho coefficient of 0.336. Likewise, a significant relationship (sig. < 0.01), positive and low, was found between leadership styles and employee competencies, with a Spearman's Rho coefficient of 0.323. Regarding the relationship between leadership style and job commitment, no significant relationship (sig. < 0.01) was found; although it is positive, the correlation is very low, with a Spearman's Rho coefficient of 0.158. On the other hand, between leadership styles and job satisfaction, a significant relationship (sig. < 0.01), positive and low, was observed, with a Spearman's Rho coefficient of 0.328. In conclusion, the research carried out at the Peruvian American Clinic in Trujillo reveals that leadership style has a positive and moderate impact on employee job performance, as well as a positive, although low, relationship with their competencies and job satisfaction.
