Introduction: Job satisfaction is a crucial factor for optimal performance, employee commitment, and overall mental well-being. However, this has not been evaluated post the events of the pandemic, where things returned to almost normalcy since 2023. Objective: To determine the socio-labor factors associated with job satisfaction among Peruvian workers in the year 2023. Methods: A cross-sectional analytical and multicenter study was conducted. Job satisfaction was measured using previously validated instruments employed in similar contexts, conducted through a virtual survey that also explored other socio-labor characteristics. Descriptive and analytical statistics were obtained. Results: Among the 1089 surveyed workers, dissatisfaction was most commonly attributed to salary conditions (27%). In the multivariate model, lower job dissatisfaction was observed among individuals with technical education (aPR: 0.73; 95% CI: 0.55-0.97; p=0.030), university education (aPR: 0.65; 95% CI: 0.52-0.82; p<0.001), and postgraduate studies (aPR: 0.59; 95% CI: 0.43-0.82; p=0.002). Conversely, those employed in the agricultural/food sector reported higher job dissatisfaction (aPR: 1.39; 95% CI: 1.03-1.87; p=0.030), adjusting for age. Conclusions: Significant reasons for job dissatisfaction were found; higher educational levels were associated with less dissatisfaction, and a specific labor sector was the most dissatisfied. This should be taken into account by employers, not only to assess this situation in their work environment but also to generate improvement interventions
