The objective of this work was to determine the incidence of non-hematological adverse reactions due to the use of Clozapine in hospitalized patients with chronic schizophrenia at the Víctor Larco Herrera National Hospital (HNVLH) - Lima, in the year 2022. Method. The design was non experimental, a basic, observational study, descriptive cross-sectional scope, retrospective; Taking as a population the 65 hospitalized patients with a diagnosis of chronic schizophrenia who reported the presence of Adverse Drug Reactions (ADRs) in the period from January to December 2022. Results: Of the 65 ADRs that occurred in 2022, it turned out that 22 cases (33.80%) were due to the use of clozapine, in addition the most frequent symptom reported was frequent sialorrhea in 10 patients (45%), the most frequent central nervous system symptom to occur was drowsiness, this was recorded in 8 patients (36 %), also the gastrointestinal symptom that occurred most frequently was constipation, since it appeared in 4 patients (18%). Conclusion: The incidence of ADRs was 45.45% sialorrhea, 36% drowsiness and 18% constipation in patients hospitalized in HNVLH with chronic schizophrenia.
