Currently, migraine represents a serious public health challenge with a high prevalence in the global population, impacting quality of life, productivity, and economic expenses, especially among women. Studies indicate that Congona alleviates migraine symptoms due to its analgesic properties that ease headaches. The objective of this research was to evaluate the relationship between Congona consumption and migraine relief as an alternative treatment for individuals who visit the San Antonio market. The method of this study was hypothetical-deductive, with a quantitative approach; the type of research was basic; with a correlational, non-experimental, and cross-sectional design; applied to a population that frequents the San Antonio market from April to October, with a sample of 385 individuals where simple random probabilistic sampling was used. A questionnaire was therefore applied as the instrument for data collection. The results showed significant differences, providing evidence of migraine relief, supported by a p-value <0.05. The conclusion was that there is indeed a relationship between Congona consumption and migraine relief as an alternative treatment among users who visit the San Antonio market, supported by a p-value <0.05, rejecting the null hypothesis (Ho) and accepting the alternative hypothesis (H1).
