The present investigation aims to compare the level of coronal microleakage of a eugenol-free provisional cement versus a eugenol-containing provisional cement. in vitro study, 2023. This study was of an inductive type, quantitative approach, applied, cross-sectional, prospective, analytical and experimental design, in the sample 15 extracted human teeth were used, anterior, premolars and molars, it was formed in 2 groups , the first with provisional cement without eugenol Gutta-percha in Bar, Obtur and Zinc Oxide+Eugenol; and the second with provisional cement with eugenol Provicol, Coltosol and Temp-Int; likewise, the level of coronal microleakage was evaluated on a 4-point scale: grade 1, grade 2, grade 3, and grade 4; and recorded on a data collection sheet. The results were that the coronal microleakage levels of a provisional cement without eugenol in vitrio, presenting 46.6% grade 4, 40% grade 3, and 13.3% grade 2; and with vitrio eugenol, presenting 73.3% grade 4, and 26.7% grade 3. The conclusions were that the coronal microleakage of a provisional cement without eugenol is grade 4, and provisional cement with eugenol is grade 3.
