Objective: Determine the relationship between knowledge about biosafety measures and the practices of the nursing staff of a private clinic, Lima – 20224. Methodology: The present study is of applied purpose, with a quantitative, correlational, cross-sectional approach. no-experimental design, developed for a population of 80 nurses from a private clinic, with the survey technique, two instruments for each variable of Pacheco 2021 and Onton 2019. Data processing: It was carried out in virtual mode through Google Forms and Microsoft Excel, then the data were processed in IBM SPSS Statistics 25, normality tests were performed, the results of which are presented in Table a. Results: A predominance of 80.0% of female sex was evident, which shows that 56.3% of individuals are between 31 and 40 years old and that 85.0% have received training and in the dimensions of Biological Risks they have a high knowledge of 55% and medium practices, in biosafety standards it obtained a medium value of knowledge and practices with 28.7% and in hospital waste management a high knowledge and medium of practices with 50%. Conclusions: It is determined that the relationship of knowledge about biosafety measures and practices of the nursing staff of a clinic is moderate and positive (Spearman's Rho = 0.499) and the calculated significance value of p = 0.047 < 0.01.
