The objective was to analyze the sociodemographic, gynecological-obstetric, and nutritional factors associated with anemia in pregnant women attended at the Laderas de Chillón Health Center in 2024. A non-experimental, cross-sectional, and correlational design was employed with a sample of 141 pregnant women. Data collection included structured interviews and clinical record reviews to obtain information on medical history, educational level, marital status, dietary habits, and hemoglobin levels. Results showed that anemia was more prevalent among pregnant women with lower educational levels, cohabiting marital status, and prolonged inter-pregnancy intervals. Pregnant women with a low body mass index (BMI) also showed a higher prevalence of anemia. Chi-square tests and logistic regression were used, highlighting that both prolonged inter-pregnancy intervals and low BMI were significant risk factors for anemia in the third trimester. In conclusion, anemia in this population was associated with factors such as marital status, educational level, parity, history of preeclampsia, and nutritional status, suggesting the need for educational and nutritional interventions in prenatal care.
