The present innovation project seeks to address a public-scope problem of direct impact on society, namely the “The high level of physical violence among students in public primary educational institutions within UGEL 07 during the years 2019-2022”. Initially, the causes were identified: discrimination; schools with coexistence systems that permit, tolerate, ignore, or even enhance violence; and exposure to domestic violence. Following this, a prioritization of causes was conducted and the one that reached the highest score in the various dimensions was selected, being considered as the one with the greatest influence on the problem. The innovation task was established as follows: How can we improve the coexistence system in educational institutions to ensure they neither permit, tolerate, ignore, nor enhance the violence affecting primary school students in UGEL 07, thereby reducing the level of physical violence among students? A preliminary sketch titled "Communication Campaign for the Prevention of Physical Violence Among Students" was developed. This idea was subsequently refined using design thinking and storytelling techniques, leading to the improved proposal "Pedagogical Activities to Prevent Physical Violence Among 5th and 6th Grade Students." This proposal includes three activities: i) training of administrative staff and teachers by UGEL 07, ii) creation of posters, and iii) staging of theatrical plays. A lowfidelity prototype was then created, using data collection tools and fieldwork. The proposal was renamed "Mechanism for Promoting Preventive Actions Against Physical Violence Among 5th and 6th Grade Students" and includes the aforementioned three activities. This prototype was subsequently tested. Finally, a high-resolution prototype, "Mechanism for Promoting Preventive Actions Against Physical Violence Among 5th and 6th Grade Students," was developed, comprising three components: i) Training workshops for administrative staff and teachers conducted by UGEL 07, ii) Planning and designing pedagogical sessions for violence prevention, including the creation of posters and the staging of theatrical plays, and iii) Implementation of the activities of creating posters and staging theatrical plays. It was concluded that the prototype generates public value in favor of the management staff, teachers, and students; thus, improving school coexistence in educational institutions in the 5th and 6th grades of primary school of the UGEL 07 to reduce physical violence between students.
