This analysis studies the incidence of public spending on road infrastructure in the regions of Apurímac, Cuzco, and Cajamarca over the periods 2007 to 2019. Since we are dealing with statistical data on regions and public spending, the econometric model used was an Ordinary Least Squares (OLS) panel data model with fixed effects. The objective of this study was to determine a useful and significant econometric model to evaluate the incidence of public spending on road infrastructure on economic growth in the regions of Apurimac, Cusco, and Cajamarca, 2007-2019. The general hypothesis of the study was that the econometric model proposed to evaluate the incidence of public spending on road infrastructure on the economic growth of the Apurimac, Cusco, and Cajamarca regions, in the period 2007-2019 is significant. The general hypothesis of the study was that the proposed econometric model is useful. The econometric results show that the model is useful to evaluate the incidence of public spending on road infrastructure on the economic growth of the regions of Apurimac, Cusco, and Cajamarca, in the period 2007-2019. It is concluded that the main variables Public Expenditure executed and Stock in road infrastructure, as well as the complementary variable of the level of education and the Regional Competitiveness Index (INCORE), have a positive impact on the economic growth of the Apurimac, Cusco, and Cajamarca regions, in the period 2007-2019, unlike the complementary variable level of employment, whose impact was negative.
