This report deals with the design and formulation of an ECONOMETRIC MODEL FOR THE LABOR DEMAND OF COMMUNICATION AND DIGITAL MEDIA PROFESSIONALS AND THE DESIGN OF A NEW UNIVERSITY CAREER used in the market study of young people from the Socioeconomic level Lower, as decision – makers of the hiring in companies of Metropolitan Lima. The emphasis on labor demand is based on the fact that gaps and needs of professionals and specialists are found to face and solve satisfactorily, with high-quality work performance, the problems both in the business world and in social institutions, public opinion, and in specialized health, education, economy and security agencies. The study concludes in the design of the content of a new university career, weighing the assessment of the professional profile and the contents of each strategic dimension in professional training. It is assumed as an essential requirement in the design of the new profession, the integration of knowledge and skills corresponding to the technological development achieved in the contemporary world in the field of communication, specifically with the use of digital media, with the situation and conditions of the potential users that make up the demand for these training services and the institutions that provide them.
