The population and sample will be made up of nursing professionals who work in the intensive care unit at the Lima hospital. The technique to collect the data for the knowledge variable will be the survey, and as an instrument the questionnaire, modified by Fernández-Concha and Fernández (2022), validated by seven expert judges, and reliable with 0.6324 according to the K-Richarson statistic; for the variable practices, observation and as an instrument the observation guide modified by Moreno (2019) validated with 84% agreement by seven expert judges, with a reliability of 0.63 according to Cronbach's Alpha statistic. All data processing and analysis will be carried out through descriptive statistics that will allow us to observe the results in frequency tables and figures, likewise inferential statistics will be used to check the correlation of variables.
