The present investigation aimed to determine the relationship between associated factors and adherence to pharmacological treatment in patients with rheumatoid arthritis. For this, the hypothetical-deductive method was used, with a quantitative approach, basic type and correlational scope. The design was non-experimental and cross-sectional. The study was carried out with a sample of 103 patients with rheumatoid arthritis who were treated at the rheumatology clinic of the Las Salinas Polyclinic, Chila - Lima. The sample was selected from a population of 140 patients, using inclusion and exclusion criteria. Surveys were administered to the participants to collect information on the variables of interest. To determine the relationship between the variables, Spearman's non-parametric Rho statistical test was used. Results: 73.8% of the patients were female, the most representative age group was 40 to 49 years of age, which was made up of 43.7%, of the 103 respondents 58.3% (n= 60) presented adherence to pharmacological treatment, as a result of the correlation between the factors associated with adherence to pharmacological treatment, it was found that the relationship is direct and significant (p=0.000; r=0.592). Conclusions: It is concluded that the factors mentioned in the study do directly influence adherence to pharmacological treatment, a moderate positive relationship was found.
